Significant Professional Accomplishments
After a six week federal court jury trial,
obtained a defendant's verdict for a financial institution client in
a class action lawsuit.
Obtained summary judgment for client employer in
an age discrimination lawsuit. Kaster v. Safeco Insurance Company of
America, 212 F. Supp. 2d 1264 (D. Kan. 2002).
Obtained a jury verdict in favor of a
governmental agency in a claim of a sexual harassment.
Obtained a jury verdict in favor of a health care
provider on a whistleblower claim brought by a nurse.
Obtained a determination in favor of a private
landlord after a week-long public hearing/trial on a race
discrimination claim before the Kansas Human Rights Commission.
